This! Used many times, and Bob there always does a top job. The amount of machinery out the back is astonishing. They also have tyre removing/fitting stuff, so can do everything under one shop - can even leave cars there. They usually have a couple sat on axle stands whilst their wheels are undergoing the usual treatment. smile

PS: They are actually called "South West Wheel Repairs" - Also trading as wheelmates I believe.

Perfect timing - I'm interested in this too. Hope to get a second set of alloys soon to refurbish in a different colour. Sounds like just the place!

Thats the usual standard of car in there too. Think last time I was there, a Vanquish was on axle stands, and a porker 911 with 5 wheel guide rod things installed as the carbon brakes could not even be slightly tapped during the wheel removal process.....

would like to get my wheels refurbed, instead of repairing to sell

would like a Nissan GTR too ... frown

- recon they might be a bit cumbersome on Devon roads though ...

Sorted! How do you even know it was that part of the wheel that they did? Must all look like new now? biggrin

Great thread. I know where I'm taking my Cup 1's for their badly needed refurb now
Just bought a set of Boxster alloys which I can't wait to see on the car too.

Got quote from Bob at SWWR for refurbing all 4 of my Boxster's wheels for 60 + Vat per wheel. OPC wanted 100 + Vat per wheel, and I'm pretty sure they would farm the work to Bob anyway!

288 all in doesn't seem too bad a deal to me!

Thought I'd update here as I've just collected my newly refurbished set of 17" Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 from SWWR in Exeter. I am very pleased with the colour, which was changed, and the finish. The service was polite, efficient and prefessional. The price wasn't bad either! Highly recommended. smile

Also reminded me to update - Bob at SWWR did the work and did it brilliantly. The refurbished results look amazing - highly recommended.
