World of cars at Trago
Discussion
Around 18 months ago, I went to World of Cars and enquired about a test drive in a Subaru WRX or Mazda RX-8. They refused unless I agreed in advance to purchase the car, subject to test drive. I didn't like this so walked away.
I've not had these conditions elsewhere. In fact, of the three other WRXs I tested, two of the dealers let me go off on my own, no questions asked.

Thanks for the responses chaps, sounds ok then other than the strange experience above, how can you agree to buy before a test drive
Edit: read it again - buy subject to test drive - unusual in cars I guess but I used to sell boats and they are generally always sold subject to sea trial, although it is a little more involved/expensive to trial a boat...
