Hi - Z4 is due a service and a few other bits and pieces need doing so i need a reputable bmw specialist the bristol area to take it to - anybody know of any?

A courtsey car while mine is being 'sorted' would be ideal but i know this may not always be possible due to my age.

Thanks

James @ Redish Motorsport is where my BMW's go. No courtesy car though.

Another vote for Stu @ Forza

Used him almost 3 years now totalling almost 100k and he's always been top notch

Mention you're a PH'er - should get you a discount on his already VERY reasonable pricing!

Another for Forza; albeit for the TVR! Bene using Stu for about 4 years now and trust him completely.

I've had Redish recommended by a few people, my M3 is going into them on Weds for a few bits. Prices seem broadly comparable with Forzawest and from my telephone conversations thus far they seem very friendly and knowledgeable.

Will update when I know the extent of the wallet rapage hehe

It's worthy of note that you need to book in advance though- I didn't realise but it's just him there! Very knowledgeable, friendly chap though who is due to be seeing a lot of my car over the next couple of weeks.

biggrin

Good grief, if it was £100k rather than 100,000 miles trust me I'd be in a prancing horse by now!

Just picked up my 540 from James at Redish, and I'll certainly be using him again. Need to book several weeks in advance at the moment though - he's a busy chap.

Today was a cam position sensor, next time is leaky cam cover gaskets - the car risks becoming a complete cliché of 540 known issues.

Was that a guess, or was it you that arrived just as I was leaving?
