My climate control unit in my E36 M3 has packed in. I have found the fix online and its just one resistor needs removing and another putting back in... I have instructions with photos etc and can get the resistor from Maplins... My problem is my eye sight is so poor I do not trust myself to do it...

Anyone on this site local to Yeovil Somerset who fancys helping out a fellow cutter?

Just done this today for my brother-in-law on his Discovery, rear windows were not working, re-soldered two dry joints rather than any replacment, but very easy fix.

Sorry this of not help to you OP, if you don't get any help closer, (I'm in Exeter) you could post down and I'll have a go.

Guys, thanks for the response.

In the end I sent it off to a chap in Lancashire. I sent it at 1pm on Monday and it was back in my hands by 1pm Wednesday. Fitted and working. Which is great as I wanted it in for when she went to BMW for a service.

Thanks for the offers guys.
