Bristol car stuff... Recommendations needed!
Discussion
Folks,
Just picked up what I hope is a very decent M3. 1999/V E36 Evo convertible in black with dakota leather interior, virtually every option and a very good uprated sound system/navigation/bluetooth malarkey. It's been serviced to within an inch of its life and mechanically very well kept, albeit with a couple of minor issues to sort. Previous owner was company exec with very nice house in Suffolk who was commuting to Telford...
First of which is, it needs a bloody good clean. It really is filthy! Any decent ideas on a valeting company, preferably who could come to my workplace (BS2)? I don't want to spend much more than £50- Not bothered particularly about waxing/detailing but it needs a good scrub up, including inside.
Secondly, one of the front tyres is distinctly on the low tread side, he has been using mid-range Kumhos due to the mileage and they seem to wear fairly quickly! I am going to check the condition of the others and will probably try to swap out the decent front with the spare tyre and then whack a couple of decent ones on the front.
Thirdly- This is rather less urgent- The rear window (convertible) is very milky with a couple of minor cracks. I'm sure I've asked before but does anyone have experience of Bristol Sunroof Centre, or alternatively have any (close) suggestions as to where I might get this replaced? It's more a vanity thing than anything else.
Fourthly- How much are Claytons charging these days? I will need an oil service in the not-too-distant future and want a decent Indy stamp in the book. Alternative suggestions in Bristol welcomed.
I realise that the above will make this sound like a complete nail of a car- But actually it's utterly superb. Feels really tight and drives beautifully, 2 owners from new, FSH, VANOS done a year ago- I think it was well worth the money and hopefully this will be my "keeper". Suffice to say if all of the above points had been covered I wouldn't have bought it for a price starting with 4... Glad I jumped at it quickly when I did since going by the eBay activity there was a huge amount of interest! Leaving one's car filthy is an interesting sales technique however
TIA

For the service I can recommend Redish Motorsport. James there will definitely do a good job for you.

Good call, I was trying to remember their name. I can also get a general checkup whilst it's in.http://www.redish-motorsport.com/index.html
Oil service can wait until next month, I was surprised it's due since the oil in there is lovely and golden however previous owner has been doing big mileage..
Before opting for the replacement option of your rear screen, perhaps try something like this http://www.renovointernational.com/products/p_wpol... Might save you some £££'s?
Also, might be worth going onto a site like detailingworld where I'm sure there will be lots of questions / posts about milky convertible windows, and what products / techniques help to improve them.

You could try http://www.bristol-mobile-valeting.co.uk. He'll do a good job for you. Thanks Paul, already engaged the services of http://www.superiorvaleting.net/ for tomorrow providing the weather holds.
Was hoping to have a proper Gucci detail but it's fair to say I have severely stretched myself with this purchase so funds are tight for a while!
