I've just decided that I fancy a drive on the Mendips tomorrow as its going to be a reasonable day. Anyone fancy coming along?

Yup , up for this - but not an early start wink What do you have in mind?

ETA: I'm in central Bath, so can meet pretty much anywhere for this.

We might be able to join you if you are thinking of a pm start. It also depends on whether the frost lasts tomorrow - the Mendips can be a bit slippery for us at the best of times.

Oh and either meet in Morrisons in Weston or Cheddar Gorge?

2pm at Morrisons works for us - enthusiasm on Mendips likely to be limited by potential slide/ditch/explosion/death.

HAHA it genuinely was sedate today, very slippery and I'm still getting used to a rwd car thats actually got a decent amount of bhp and torque. However its nothing compared to what the mighty SL65 is packing :S

Softly, softly gently does it today. It felt like we were on marbles - I think we may need to replace the traction control light soon.

HighFlier - your car sounded rather lovely as you went past on the motorway - it picked up speed rather well too! A definite Q car that one.

The mad frozen bug made me smile a lot too - top marks to Huff for even bringing it out. I hope you defrost soon!

Hmm; I think that's item 438 on the list of things the Fury doesn't have...

Glad you could hear it - if you get yours tweaked, you'll probably never hear anyone else again!

The SL does seem to keep up with the flow of traffic - shame it was quite so busy.

I suspect the seat of your pants works quite well instead.
