There is a news agents in Backwell that does it, I know you said Bristol but if you are this side it might be of help. I think it's a newsagents on the cross roads that used to be called Bob Taylors.

Bought a VHS to DVD recorder from Maplin for £50 last year

So if you have a few VHS vids worth getting that?

I have used the company below, they are based in Winterbourne, and being a private house one can call outside office/work times.

There is also a company in the Clifton that google will show up, but the above were more convenient to me.
