Hi All,

As discussed at Castle Drogo, please post here if you are definitely in for the Classic this year.

The consensus seems to be travel on the Weds 4th July return Monday 9th July.

Ferry either Poole - Cherbourg or Plymouth - Roscoff / St Malo.

Prices approx £275 per person + about £200 -250 ish more supplement for the ferry route. Or Dover - Calais for a lot cheaper but obviously more fuel cost.

This is for Club Valan camping at the Airport with shuttle bus to the track during the 24 hrs of the race.

Food is included, toilets and showers are pretty clean.

We may be able to get some Maison Blanche tickets but Club Valan seems more likely.

Over to youbiggrin

I'm a definate, vote from me for Maison Blanche but will go with the flow.
The St Malo route we chatted about on Sunday isn't running that time of year from Plymouth just to note.
The Cherbourg route leaves from Portsmouth.

We did the Portsmouth to Le-Harve crossing on our 2010 classic....found it to be a nice route down. Also another thumbs up for MB from us, but as said, will also just go with flow biggrin

If we are going to vote, I'll vote for Club Valan. The inclusive food and shuttle bus sell it for me smile

Just checked our 2010 ferry booking confirmation...Portsmouth to Le Havre was £250 based on two sharing one car back then.

Return Mon 9th either 08:30am or 21:30
Cost approx £254 per car with 2 people include cabin

Poole / Portsmouth - Cherbourg

The early doors Wednesday one from Portsmouth suits me out of those tbh fella. Getting over to France early morning, we'll be set up and BBQ going by lunch time biggrin

Saying that, for the last classic John and I ended up having a BBQ in a lay-by on the way down at around 1-2am before we'd even left Englandbiglaugh
