Anyone know a place you'd recommend for alloy wheel refurb in or around Bristol?

I had a sudden lapse of spatial awareness while parking. Cue much grinding of alloy against the kerb... frown

(I'll take the criticism of my normally manly parking on the chin!) biggrin

That will be the "bleary eyed" part of your name then!?

Only place I know is down in St Austell, I'm sure someone else will pop along soon.

Bleary brained more than bleary eyed, on that day at least. wink

St Austell a little out of my way, I'm afraid!

Lepsons in Swindon are very widely regarded, indeed my little Cliosports wheels are going in there after Christmas!

Try these guys...

They always come up in these sort of threads!

Not used them myself, but lots on here have.

Cheers

Not useful to the O.P but if anyone down in the Exeter area also has a sudden lapse in concentration I know a very good place on Marsh Barton! smile

Another vote for Lepsons in Swindon.

I wouldn't use anyone else.

They did my Porsche's wheels last week excellent service and worth the journey.

I've not heard a single bad word against them and several work colleagues have used them with good results.

Did you take your car in and leave it there or did you take the wheels in separately? I've got axle stands, so leaving the car sans-wheels for a day or so is not an issue just a bit of a ball-ache!

Are your wheels forged by any chance?

Mine are and I'm being told they MUST go to Germany to be done which I just can't fathom....

Standard C4S/turbo alloys.
Took the wheels in took them 2 days to do.

I had all my Alpina's wheels done by Lepsons. Amazingly good job. £10 extra to take out a few minor buckles (the previous owner was using the curbs instead of parking sensors or eyes!) You can leave the car with them. They didn't do a PH price, but they gave me 10% off for being a member of the Alpina Register. I'm sure PH could negotiate something similar...
