Its a sad sad day...

With a heavy heart and a fair bit of cursing i have put the Ultima up for sale. Its time to move on and i have the itch to create something new and exciting. First things first, i'll have to put a PH smiley on the L200!!

I'll be building my Spitfire Le Mans into a classic race car next year and then we will have to see how long i can contain myself before buying something else with a V8 engine... Maserati Gransport... Jaguar XFR... Aston DB9... all so very tempting.

So, if we get a half decent weekend i may be up for a last horrah before the grit goes down.

Tempted at all Paul?

As one of a number of Paul's on here, the answer is - quite tempted indeed. No Mendips though - narrow, slippy, gritty, back end waggly death for us at the moment if we even think about the possibility of pressing on.

I was wondering if you would ever part with the Ultima - can't be any easy thing to do. I have no doubt your Spitfire will be suitably mental though!

hehe, you knew who i was referring too though.....just think you could have 2 of these for the price of an R8 and still have left over cash for engine mods... Lisa could have her own unique colour coded Ultima

I make no assumptions, but I had a good guess

It is a very tempting car, but my aging spine and need for buttons to press is overiding my silly side (I think I have become quite old).

I'm actually also 100%, well almost certainly, a fair chance, seriously not going to change the SL for a while yet.......probably.
