I've purchased a single inlet, twin exit OEM exhaust from the E46 325 and the diameter of the inlet is slightly larger (circa 1cm) than the standard 318 inlet.

I assume a cone type attachment can be welded to connect the two pipes, the new exhaust coming with the standard mounting brackets etc?

Any recommendations or local PHers?

Try chimtvr, he's around Wellington and pretty good at fabricating stuff like that.

You could try Infinity Exhausts. Used them many times.

I have a mechanic friend who does a lot of welding out of hours. Based in Shirehampton. I'm pretty sure you won't find cheaper. PM me if you want details.
