As I'm picking up my new car on Friday biggrin and I havn't made many (2) PH's meets this year I was wondering if anyone fancied a low key meet up in Cheddar Sunday morning and then a drive up on the Mendips to finish up in the Castle of Comfort pub. Anyone fancy it?

What time you planning to be at Cheddar?

If I can make it, I'll be there.

Right then - so a number of us are OK - I suggest metting at the 1st car park above the caves at 10.00?

Sorry for not checking this until now guys! Been a bit preoccupied with my shiny new car for the last day or so biggrin. TorqueVR's idea of 1000 in the gorge sounds good to me smile so see you then!

I did a similar mini gorge meet last year and everyone seemed to enjoy the route I chose then, not a massive one but we can discuss it tomorrow if anyone wants a longer route smile

I'm glad to see we've got a good little group together now, initially I thought I'd be going on my own haha. If anyone else fancies leading the pack then feel free, I never know how fast/slow people want to go!!

I'll be along if its dryish.

Oh and for those unfamiliar, please don't forget the Gorge has 20mph limit and plenty of climbers, cyclists and walkers will likely be there to enjoy it also.

Indeed, and also there are resident goats/sheep which can regularly be found in the middle of what is a fairly narrow road!
