Exeter hospital car park help
Discussion
Hi - I'm currently down in Torquay and having to visit the main hospital (wonford sp?) in Exeter every day 2.30 onwards. Yesterday it took me over 30 minutes to find a space...and only got that as I noticed someone looked like they were about to leave. Other people seemed to be in a similar situation as all we could do was to keep driving round until we found a space.
Does anyone know if there is alternative parking close by? I looked at various side streets but they had 'resident parking permits only'.

I don't know where Digby is - I managed to park in the womans hospital car park C today after only 15 mins trawling the others and already doing a re-run. There must be hundreds of cars parked making loads for the NHS - and I did notice a few selfish sods parked between 2 bays...when there are so few spaces anyway that should get them a fine.

Digby is where the big tesco is in Exeter - only about 1/3 mile off at Junction 30 (take the dual carriageway, first exit, when going down the sliproad)
Currently I'm getting off at J29 as it seems to be the simplest route. Because I don't know the area it's probably best I stick with the route given and just hang around the car parks with the others until a space becomes available. Just thought someone might know of a back street not far away that wasn't 'residents only'. They're probably residents only for a reason
He's now on a waiting list for Paignton hospital so hopefully he'll be moved soon and it won't be so much of a hassle.
