Today, I got stuck in traffic, in my XKR (which is considered to have a resonably loud V8 exhaist).

I had to sit inside the Tamar Tunnel (Plymouth - Saltash Cornwall) for a few minutes, even on tickover it sounded lovely, then i was letting a few cars pull away & booting it. The truck behind me was loving it.

Anyway, your tunnel trumps mine by length, but not by length of time in it !
Almost worth the £1.50 they now charge

Nice one, spot the Brit with his lights off!!, they get quite stroppy if you drive through their tunnels without your lights on. Sounds like a good road trip, would be up for a bit of that myself. yes
