Just noticed THIS posted by Shoebag in the main events section

For those who enjoy the Bristol event, looks like it could be a good day! (and just a week after Raleigh Rally!)

It is about bloody time that this god-forsaken dump of a city stage a classic car event so looking forward to that.

The classic car scene here is almost dead so it needs to be livened up. Hopefully there will be a good turn out of cars & visitor. Just hope that the City Council dont get involved as they will simply bks it all up!!!

I was called by a chap last night out of the blue asking if I was the organiser of it.

Hopefully he'll now be bringing his X1/9 to Sherborne on the 2nd.

Great little event , shame if you missed it. And the council didnt get involved and all went well. Some lovely motors and enthusiastic owners. Hope they run it again next year

Just seen your profile - guessing that was your Jalpa. I loved it - first time seeing one in the flesh. I came in the Alfa 145.

Don't think we got to say hi unfortunately!

Thanks, I'm so glad I chose it over the usual 106, Clio or Saxo track cars. You're 147 was something else too - so clean!

Only been in a GTA once, when a friend traded in his Lotus due to an expanding family. I think he had the Quaife LSD diff mod along with an exhaust and remap by AutoDelta. Sure you know all about those, but it was rather rapid and they do sound lovely biggrin

Some lovely cars (and bikes).
The Lambrettas brought back memories of my youth (I can just remember that far back!!)
