Given that you can't generally recoup any "aftermarket" spending, and I can get at least £100 back for the tax, I'm happy so far

Car sold for £535 plus £100 for the remaining RFL, so a reasonable amount.

Hopefully buyer is coming down from the Wirral at the weekend to collect- I did think he was going to be a no-contact muppet and had lined up the Second Chance Bidder who was all ready to collect today, but unfortunately winning bidder has been in touch overnight so I have to honour the bid- Fingers crossed they are good to their word as I hate having to turn down guaranteed cash NOW!

Well, we can definitely have a curry.

But surprise surprise, winning bidder is now messing around and can't complete the sale. Why on earth he didn't tell me this yesterday is beyond me, I did give him the chance- I had the second bidder lined up with cash to collect yesterday but he's now on holiday in Spain so the chance is missed.

I've farmed out an offer to the next highest bidder to collect it this weekend for £600- Utter bargain.

Bought for £600 a year ago, ragged to within an inch of its life since, sold for £800. Quality MX5 economics.
