Hi all,

We have a new event (same informal stance) taking place on Sunday 2nd October at Sherborne Castle in north Dorset, just a few miles east of Yeovil.

If you haven't seen the thread in the events forum, here's a link to that one as I expect it will mostly be a south west meet.

I am hoping to be there, but won't know until mid August I think. Cool for me as Sherborne is half the distance compared to Brizzle.

I live in Shaftesbury and didnt even know this event existed??? I cant make it this year as Ill be on my jollies. Will keep an eye out for it next year though

Hope so, although for Sherborne from where I live (Exmouth) it would be easier for me to meet the convoy at Daisymount on the A30 @ Ottery.

UPDATE!! - NEW DATE 2ND OCTOBER

Hi chaps - I've been extremely busy for the past month so haven't had the time or brain to put much effort into the Raleigh Rally like I normally would.

I've heard from lots of people with great cars who can't make it on Sept 4th due to holidays, other events and work, so I think pushing the date forward will make the event more successful for the Air Ambulance. It'll also give me much more time to chase up some interesting vehicles and find some raffle prizes.
