Being new to the Plymouth area, can anyone recommend a sensible MOT tester (pref in the Plympton/ Lipson area?)

By sensible, I mean someone that isn't looking to fail for the sake of it - they are not likely to get much work, as I do my own repairs. I've also got a reasonable knowledge of what is or isn't a fail, so don't want someone taking the mickey.

Any suggestions welcomed.

Cheers

Thread bump but how busy are you in the evenings? I did pop in on saturday, not sure if it was you i spoke to, to ask about wheel balancing but you were really busy. Could also do with an oil and filter change as well. Thanks!

Well, I popped in to see Corin and the rest of the guys at National for an MOT and I can confirm they are all top guys and very helpful - they will certainly be getting my business in the future.

I was even offered a cup of tea!

I went in Saturday as well so thanks for sorting that out. Yes I know I should really be doing oil and filter changes myself but I can't be bothered to mess around in the rain then drive to Plymstock to get rid of the oil

Whereabouts in Plymstock can you get rid of used oil? I'm newly local!

Cheers
