Hotel in/near Bath
Discussion
I'm looking to take the OH away for a couple of days and wanted a nice hotel near Bath. Have looked at the usual websites to be met with hundreds of choices, and at the moment we're leaning towards Homewood Park hotel just on the outskirts, anyone stayed there?
Just wondered if anyone had any other suggestions? We're looking at about £150 per night max and would like somewhere I can park the car on-site and is nice enough that we can spend most of the day there doing not too much. The OH is nearly 8 months pregnant so she's not too keen on walking!

Went to a wedding at the Tracy Park a couple of years ago - very nice.

Don't go to Hunstrete House, the company that owns it (Von Essen) have gone bust and that hotel has closed. Lucknam Park 5 miles outside Bath is great, start at around £200/night I think but should be able to find deals online, also great spa.
Or if you want centre of Bath head for the Queensbury Hotel easily get room for £150 and excellent restaurant there as well.

Haringtons is a good boutique hotel in the centre of Bath although parking is difficult.
The Francis has some on site parking and again is in the very centre of Bath.

If you stay there, say hello to Derek for me!

Brilliant location if you want to really be in the centre, they'll valet park the car on one of the streets nearby. Would get my vote, privately owned by nice people and he drives a BMW550 so can't be all bad!Gassing Station | South West | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
