...despite someone pranging my DB9 we met Cooky at his pub - The Crown Hotel in Lynton. Very hospitable chap, very enthusiastic petrol head-er. Pub was busy, food looked good and the beer was very nice indeed. He ws a very genial host smile

Will certainly eat/drink there next time yes

Oh...and if you havn't driven Exmoor I would certainly recommend it. The A39 coast road is a very nice but we also crossed the Moors (the road from Dulverton to Lynton being especially nice) cloud9

That's another one to add to the list. So may places, so little time.

The driving from Minehead to Lynmouth is brilliant, I suggest the first weekend after the summer hols, should be good weather but less traffic...

Lynton/ Lymouth is a lovely place, as is the drive to it. And as a noted extra a really dog friendly place. I know there are a lot of dog owners on this site!

Haven't been for a couple yrs really must try to revisit soon, pity we've only got boring cars to do the journey now!
