db meter

my mate and i are doing a track day on the bikes, noise limit is 102db, we havent got any baffles for our exhausts.

I downloaded an app for my nokia x6, cant get it past 100db, so i dont know if 100 is the max it will go or what?

Anyway I'm asking if anyone has one locally to taunton that we could meet up and just do a quick sound test, thanks, Allen

If you can't find anyone locally to do a test then you can buy a db meter at Maplin for £30. Cheaper than turning up on a track day to be sent home again.

If there are any other trackdays local to you before the one you're planning, give them a call and see if you can turn up at lunchtime just to be noise-tested. Motorsport Events were happy to do that for the Mustang (106db ).

been looking online, baffles are about £30 so may just buy them

I will have a calibrated noise meter with me for the Sw kitcars meet on the 25th June at MB Motorsport, Loddiswell bit of a run from Taunton but if the suns shining?
