Anyone with a Car Trailer in or around Taunton?

Hey guys,

To cut a long story short a friend of mine has offered me her V reg Tigra, it has HGF and no MOT. This means I am unable to tow it. Does anyone have a car trailer in the taunton area and willing to help me out? Obviously I will throw you some cash for your troubles.

The car is located in Staplehay by Trull and my house is in Taunton, it's around 5 miles.

You can rent them for fairly cheap, last time I looked it was ~£50 for a day.

Errrr.... is it illegal to tow without mot then? Oops. I've done it loads of times.

Yup, if the wheels are on the road it has to be MOTed, Taxed and Insured.
I beleive the exception would be of course if you were travelling to an MOT test centre.

I would check with the police I asked a few years ago and was told if its under tow then its classed as a trailer??

Thanks for the ideas guys, managed to get it back to my place a friend of a friend works for a recovery firm and put it on a flat bed for some beer money
