Hi South West people

I need to stay locally to Cold Ashton/Bath/M4 j18 tomorrow night, and I really need somewhere safe to park the car overnight, so NO town centres, or ramped car parks: (low front end GT3).

Also good food, and a clean bed..

Any recommendations please

Cheers

The Cross Hands at Old Sodbury has a big, flat car park and is just north of M4 J18 on the A46. No idea if it's any good but I'm sure reviews are online somewhere.

Where are you staying?

I've left TVRs in the Charlotte St. car park overnight more than once. It's not that risky an area.

I have been told of the White Hart in Ford.

Anyone got any experience of this place?

Nowhere yet!

Not going into Bath centre, meeting at village nearby.

I am sure the car and I will be safe, just want to end up in the wrong place

White Hart in Ford's ok, but the car park might be a bit iffy to negotiate (the road's very narrow there).
You might try The Crown at Gidea Hall (a couple of miles further on the same road (A420) as Ford heading towards Chippenham).

Castle Coombe? Village itself is nice and there are a couple of big hotels.

rather depends what you have in mind.

You may get slightly diverted in the morning if the gates to the track are open..
