I just saw the other thread about it, seems decisions are many fold as to whether everybody goes on a chip shop run at some stage of the evening.

It's about 50 miles from me, in Stafford, but my Morris has no heater.... :wimp:

The chip shop run was an important aspect of the original venue. We would nip down there at about 8.30 grab some food and chat outside/inside or take the food back to the pub and eat indoors. What's more we would go as passengers in different cars. I'd bag a ride in a suave bentley or skoda but a tuscan or t350 would be nice. Sometimes I'd take my 900t. It was a part of the social thing that was different every meeting. The current venue may tick some of the boxes but is like the pub at the end of my street and thats got a carvery.

You'll meet enthusiasts though so go for it Bung in some unleaded if you can.

I'm back, I signed in at work once, and forgot to untick the remember me box, (It was before the log out button) I got back to work to find someone in pistonheads as me. So I set up a false name to use, when I was away from my own computer. It used to be a different name but I found some provocative, but not offensive, posts recently so there is a PC somewhere logged in. So I changed the name.
