What a glorious day!

Woke up this morning with sunshine streaming through the windows. Instantly awake, I looked at Judas who grinned at me; he knew we were both thinking the same thing! (No not that! ) Up, dressed and one very quick bacon sarnie later we were moving the barge and opening the garage. Greeted by a wonderfully fat arsed steed we set to work:
- foam protecting the garage opening mechanism - check
- board protecting the garage wall - check
- trickle feed removed and out of the way - check
- keys - check
- local children standing with their gobs open - check
It rumbled into life, not sounding too tractorish (excellent) and we began the critical and seemingly impossible stage of manoeuvering a large mass out of a small dimension.
Finally out into the open air, roof removed, chez nous secured, children awed, we are cleared for take off.
'Give it some mister!' was the last thing we heard, how could we refuse?
Up hill down dale, Belper, Wirkswirth, Matlock, Buxton, chips and a coffee at the Cat and Fiddle, Macclesfield, Leek, stopped for petrol, chatted with owner of stunning DB6 Vantage in a beautiful dark green who followed us out of Leek and was in a most wonderfully spirited manner
Hang a left at the B5053, straight on cross country to the 515, peeled off on the 512 to Cromford and the A6, up to Matlock and down the 615 to Alfreton then the A38 to Raceboy's, who wasn't in . Back home for tea and scones at 5 o'clock.
What a stunning car to drive. One of those days you remember for the rest of your life.

You have to make use of the nice days in January!
I took the M3 CSL out, with a friend in his Lancer Evo 360 1X yesterday. The idea was to go to Newhaven and down to Ashbourne, then back to Alfreton, but 80 miles later we were still in Utoxeter!
The 3246cc screamer showed off it's wonderful voice to the residents of about 30 villages, not all were overly impressed!
OOOpps!

Bugger
Sunday's I get transported round to my parents for a hot meal, made to eat veg and watch pap on TV until I cry to be taken home again.
I know they are only trying to look after me in my crippled state though, but looks like I would have had more fun staying at home.
Begining to get a bit bored with the sofa and daytime TV now, but not a great deal I can do about it though, sorry I missed you guys.
Managed to get a picture of my new screws today.

Anyhow, what the heck did you do to yourself?
Short answer is I fell off a push bike.
