christmas dinner test!!!

i took mrs scissorhands to okerthorpe yesterday to go and see what the food was like before we go on the crimbo meal, and all that can be said is that it was most definatly the best carvery i have ever had, im a connisur of meat even if i cant spell it!!! was awsome if anyone is thinking of going there for a genral nosh or THE crimbo meal i would recomend it very highly!!!

Phew! That's a relief. I was worried the portions wouldn't be big enough after last year's feast

Before i made the suggestion on the forum to switch our get-togethers from Starkholmes to Oakerthorpe, we took in a few car/bike meetings and had a meal or two also.

I did think after that, that it had every chance of being a successful change and it looks like it has become quite popular amongst people here.
