o yes, duh

might also be worth noting that you have no affiliation with them whatsoever other than they bought your F430 from you!

Hi Karl,

Thanks for coming down for the press photo shoot. The runway still bears the scars! Interesting race between the F430 and the Gallardo though (!), maybe Chris wasn't getting his boot down?

Drop in anytime.

Hi Paul,

Yeah would love to call in, Id love to get the 997 Turbo Hooning around your runway if poss? only joking.
Really enjoyed the day mate and wish you all the best with V International.

Have you posted any details on here, as I think you might get some good responses, you might have to confirm things with Ted about Advertising Etc???

Cheers

Karl.

Hello Paul,

just had an idea, I presume you can get us (read lots of nice cars) onto the airfield, I know lots of people on here would love the chance to take their cars round the airfield and thought you could possibly have a "open day for PH Memebers" for V international, and we will bring lots of perfomance vehicles (with their owners of course) to the day.

as I say, just an idea really I know alot of people on here who would jump at the chance to take their cars round the runway and im sure you would like to show the right people what your new venture is all about.

is it a possibility?

Thanks in advance

Gary

It would be rather fabulous angelboy , much better than having to watch all the 11pm boy racers trying to crash, and only a short walk up the runway for me.

At present, Gamston Airport are having planning issues with the local council with regards flight training on site. This has put a bit of a stop on 'extra' activities on the unlicensed runway until the application has been granted (only a matter of time I'm told). Last year I organised a Ferrari Fly-in and we had permission from the airport and the owner to have a play, but the gliding club wouldn't budge from the runway! They've since been removed so watch this space!

They should play on the anniversary of it first being used as a race track (1947) , i am led to believe it was the first race track to open after the war .
I guess we wouldn't complain about the noise, car noise is after all so much better the racket from the glider winch every weekend.
