Hi Di Ho Midlanders. I'm a relatively new PHer living in the Nottingham area. Being a biker of some 20 years or more I know a few places where bikers meet in the area but where do 4 wheel pilots congregate on certain nights? I know the Anchor at Oakerthorpe (bikes mainly on a Thursday) but where are the other haunts around my neck of the woods? I've still got a bike but hardly use it these days (3500 miles from new in 3 years!)

My 4 wheel hooner is a 4.5 Cerbera in a very bright yellow if that has any bearing on locations/vehicle types?

I've seen mention of Papplewick in a couple of threads, what happens where and on what night? Interested to hear about any others too although I realise it is a bit late in the 'season' now!

Unfortunatly 'summer' ended on the 6th
Theres the Oxton meet on the 20th but with the weather and the lack of light I'd expect a lowish turnout.
As your a TVR driver best bet is the TVRCC meeting on 8th October, no idea what the new pub is like, or even where it is but I'm sure there will be a big turn out if it's not raining

StefT, I think I've seen you around in Notts in your Cerbera (well how
many bright yellow 4.5's can there be in the city?).

First time I saw you you were driving round near the corner house, second
was around canning circus. Both times I wasn't in the Chimaera

There's a regular meet at Shradlow (Tuesday's?) I think.

Midlands PH'ers have been doing every other Tuesday at the White Lion at Starkholmes for a few years now, but we have just switched to the Anchor at Oakerthorpe. There was a meet last night, but probably not well attended because several of us regulars went to the Carrington Arms meet at Ashby Folville.

Next meet is Tuesday 26th September at Oakerthorpe, 7pm onwards.

There will also be several of us at Donington Seeing Red over the weekend of 23/24 September.

Hi Speedeight
Near the Corner House, definitely not me but possibly me round Canning Circus. Only been into the City in the Cerb twice so it looks like there's another banana car in Nottingham too!
