Leicestershire events..

Hi, we went to the Dog and Gun at Kilby last night, perhaps 40 odd cars, mainly older (XK120, Morris Cowley, Ford Fairlane etc). Very pleasant pub and setting.

Notes were put on the cars about the following:

Royal Oak, Naseby, Sunday 16/7 @ 13.00, also local gardens will be open.

Black Horse Foxton, 27/7 from 19.00, trophy and £10 prize on offer for best vintage, classic car and motorbike.

Saw yours too! Prehaps it is time to organise a Leicestershire PH meet?. At least then I might recognize some more PH'ers at Ashby I am displaying the Scimitar at the Beaumanor Hall show and the Belvoir castle show.

Hi, never been to the Belvoir Castle event, but I've heard it's good, and of course it's a great setting. It;s a good idea to have a Leics event, To the Northants or Notts /Derby sides and I'm sure they'll come along too. I guess we need suggestions (we're awya for a week or so, and wont be able to reply for a while). Dave
