Usually folks arrive from 7pm onwards, we have a drink and kick tyres in the car park, then between 8-9pm we go off to the chippy, then return to the pub for more tyre kicking. Folks wander off as & when it suits, 10-11'ish.

In the truck, yes.
I wouldn't finish work untill 9pm that night. After June 30th though, no more shift work. Infact no more work at all - for a while anyway.

A quick note on routes to Matlock/Starkholmes... When travelling from Derby City, I find the B5023 to be far more entertaining than the A6. Any other good roads in from the South?

Depends how empty the A6 is between Ambergate and Matlock Bath
