Spotted Williamp!!!
Discussion
Did anyone wandering the paddock spot my silver Merc 190E 2.5-16?
Noticed a few people taking a peek at it... that's nice when there's so all these Aston Martins and Ferraris parked nearby.
I saw some crazy yellow schimitar-esque car by the pit straight kind of opposite the pits, this must have been plasticpig.....

Saw 53chevy's truck
Thanks for the compliment !!
I've just got home from a classic car meeting at The Crown in Shardlow. There were only 3 cars there including me so I came home early - does get busy when the weather warms up. There was a guy there who wanted to buy the truck - but it's not for sale.
Donington was great though, apart from the weather. I may try and get to another meeting this year.

Blimey, my mate lives next door, was the cream coloured F150 stepside there? looks similar to yours, but from Ford.
You know Mitch ?. Blimey, small world or what !. I've known him for about 20 years - he was at college with my brother. He was just unloading some wood out of the back of his truck so I went and had a chat with him. He's just put a new rad in it this week and it's now painted in grey primer - true hot rod colour. He's still got his Harley, the 56 Chevy and he's working on his Karman Ghia.
It's on the 1st Tuesday of the month from 7pm - though some get there earlier to get a parking space - otherwise you have to park on the road. I'll try to post a reminder for the next meeting. Not sure if I'll be there - depends what shift I'm on ( assuming I still have a job that is ).

Is there any real alternative at the Crown?
I managed to stand still in the wind long enough to get a few shots of the truck .. is it OK with you to post a couple?
Yes sure, I could do with a few more pics of it.
Cheers, Roger.
