Legs 11 is by the Arcadian.
There's an 80's bar opposite too (Reflex)! Good for a sing song. Mr Egg just round the corner should finish your night off (great sausage, egg and chips with a piece of bread and butter).

Arcadian is were I strolled to last night. ALl quite quiet though..bit cold plus it was Monday & bit drizzly. May go for a wee pint again tonight though.. really liked the GReen Room

Wonder if anyone here has nothing better to do (I obviousl dont) tomorrow night & fancies a small beer or two in, or around, the Arcadia area. Bit knackered to stroll off to the Green Room tonight but would like another hour in there before I go. The other fellas I'm working with are in another hotel a mile away & I'm a lazy sod, as a rule

If you walk over the road from the Radisson and through to the back of the Mailbox, there are some nice bars there, such Bar Epernay (piano bar) and a couple of other nice ones on the same stretch (although they're a little louder). There's is also Bank in Bridley Place, or The Living Room (although it can get packed) just past the Hyatt hotel (Broad Street). The places in the Arcadian, such as SoBar and Poppy Red (which I think are both still there) are a bit more funky.
The Green Room I can't comment on, as I've never been there!

The Old Joint Stock is on the perimeter road that runs around the back of the cathedral on Colmore Row (Temple Row). If you like real ales go to the Wellington on Bennetts Hill - around 20 real ales at any one time and constantly changing. From memory they had nearly 2,500 different real ales during 2005!!!! Look on the blackboard for names and strength plus a brief description.
Bennetts Hill is left at the traffic lights off Colmore Row or you can walk up the hill from the pedestrianised but of New Street.
