Lee was supposed to be starting a seperate thread about this, but he's clearly forgotten. I think it kicks off about 7:30, I'll be there for 8.

I'll be there 8 ish, live opposite pub but will stick silver 996 (with PH sticker) in pub car park so people pulling in know they've got the right place. We normally hog the table to the right of the fireplace in the front/main bar.

Promise to be easy on newcomers - it's only the second time for the rest of us and all we do is drink and bang on about cars!

Simon - Yellow GT3, from Horncastle, top man.

Me, silver 997, I turned up, but saw no-one also, so left. Prematurely it seems. Had a go in Simon's GT3 on the saturday coincidently. Fantastic machine.

Simon, what have you done with the funds from Saturday, are they making their way to an OPC near you?
Did that drive help or hamper your decision making process?

I've written to Andy Goss to try and get him to accept five grand. I'm not putting ten grand down for an 07 delivery, no matter how good the car is. It's just a complete piss take. I might change my mind if the turbo sells quickly for good money, but at the moment I'm holding fire. The experience of your GT3 was so above my expectations that it's convinced me to go that route. I couldn't believe the noise! Just don't know how I'll get over the deposit thing. Might be cutting my nose off to spite my face.
