Anyone know one? Good 'ole Joe Lucas has beaten me. I had the indicators working. And the hazard flasher. But when the switch went back in...nothing. So I removed the swicth again and...nothing.

The horns show 12v to them, but wont make a noise. A good auto electrician with classic car experience would be nice, thanks. And before the 3rd feb, when the MOT runs out.

Sound like you may have lost an earth to chassis, I'd come over and sort it for ya but I'm flat out at mo....Sorry.

Second thoughts- check all fuses, take them out clean contact area and replace, bouble check switches you have been messing with cos its sounds local!

Good luck....

I know a great mobile auto electrician from Birmingham who's an absolute whizz and most reasonable. He's doing some work for me on Saturday. I'll ask him if he'll travel to Leicester.

Cheers,

Tony

Yes please. Regarding fuses: they are all fine, thanks. And the fuses are not unique to that component, and all the other components work fine.

Thanks for trying, though

Tony - I live in Brum and a decent electrician would be a bonus. Got any contact details. Please e-mail me.

William - Do you have a relay to the horn? Same happened to me on the Griff and the replacement relay was duff.

I started the car today and...everythign works fine. (and no, they're not dependant on ignition, only (position 1). So, Joe Lucas has decided to let me play in the lovely weather today.

I just hope it holds until the MOT next Tuesday...
