Help for a new : BMW independant in Notts / Grantham

Hi all
1st post. Recently purchased a 318is coupe as a 2nd car

The bad news is when selecting 2nd gear down-changing
from 3rd or 4th is difficult resulting in baulking
or pops back into neutral.

So I need a decent specialist to check it out to support a potential warranty claim.

I live between Nottingham & Grantham
Any help would br greatly appreciated
