Sounds like daylight robbery to me. Peoples Choice are quite good for hunting down a good deal - 0870 504 05 06 (only number to hand).

I have my Corrado insured through Chris Knott Insurance. (Cheapest of all I phoned.) Tel 01580 752961

I have maximum no claims, no convictions and I'm not as young as I used to be

Good luck! Getting insurance always puts the dampers on getting a new car.

Hello there. Its always worth phoning round a few compnaies, but if you are a member of some of the clubs, you can get a discount from the likes of adrian flux and a company called MSM insurance, who specialise in smarts - www.msminsurance.co.uk/

If you want to liven the car up a bit, then you could get the ECU remapped to get that little extra power - from around 61hp upto about 80hp. In the midlands, there is one company i would recommend to do this - Ecutuning - Digitec. He has 5 years experience tuning smarts specifically, and i dont think ive heard of any problems with people using him. Another few plus's is that he is a very nce guy, but also a member here too.

I hope this helps a bit

Most annoying advert on telly but confused.com was very simple and ended up with a great rate from Norwich Union for my 911 3.2 Carrera £580-00
