I came up against one of those bastards on the A50 one time. I had no idea what it was, other than a big slow looking VW 4x4.

I nipped into the right-hand lane at one of the roundabouts thinking I'd waste him on the other side (I was in the S3).

I could barely gain any ground on him at all. Nipped in front and then gradually slowed once I'd got past, just to let him overtake (he was prepared to do much higher speed than me) and gave him the thumbs up.

they had these at a trade show in germany in march this year as VIP cars... ... nice cars but I wouldn't own one.

volkswagon in german means everybodys car, at 80k sterling its not everyone that can afford one.
