Are others insured to drive the car ?

If not I'd guess that, like many, she just drives as it suits her, regardless of legal niceties. With only 2 years experience it's not too surprising.

The camera is at the bottom of a hill in an area with very few pedestrians, it's been more a case of letting the car roll/pick up speed than having the foot down.

Any advice or recommendations of lawyers would be appreciated.

Need some advice.

Wife got 5 speeding tickets (35-38 in a 30 zone) within 2 weeks. Believes she wasn't going that fast. Clean licence, had for 2 years.

Currently been sent letter to declare who was driving. I'm assuming she needs to state it was her? Any benefit in requesting photographic evidence to confirm?

Anybody know any good lawyers in Leicester who may be able to help with this case?
It sounds like you and she both know it's her. What are you hoping someone here will say? "Sure, just go right ahead and lie about who was driving, it'll be fine..."

With respect, your wife is the exact reason that camera is there - she's either not paying attention, not aware of her surroundings, not in control of the car properly or simply doesn't care. None of those options are good, by the way.

Wasn't hoping for advice to lie about it. Was hoping for advice on a traffic lawyer somebody has used before, I'm not from the area

Op. PH'er AGTLaw is a motoring lawyer.

Sounds like your wife is about to be taught a lesson for being unobservant and out of control of the car. Letting it run away can easily be seen as not in control, I suggest that she doesn't use that as a defence!

Oh strap yourself in for a lot of people ready to remind you about how much of a danger your wife is.....

Anyway, as said above - AGTLaw is your man
