If anyone hasn't any plans this sunday, hows about a trip out to Mallory. I'm going to be in my first race so support from any folks I know, or indeed I'm yet to know, will be welcome.

Failing that I'll hope to see you at the October meet in Nottingham.

Regards
Iain

'tis now not happening. I has a big shunt in testing yesterday, three of us got squiffy going into Gerrards and i was the one who ended up not making it out, the car wont be ready for Sunday. However do go and say hi to Graham in the blue Tuscan (#2) who's car it was i smashed!

I'm ok, despite the concerns of the medics etc etc and spending 5hours in hospital.

Iain,

What car are you driving and what's wrong with it now? Also, is Grahams car ok?

Graham's Tuscan is fine, and he will be racing on Sunday, although he was complaining that the front tyres were getting a tad hot (drivers!!! :rolleye.

His tasmin however is in a sad state, but she will live again, once my wallet has taken a battering, still it can't be any more painful than being strapped to a spine board for over an hour!

Iain
(btw Boosted, as a total aside, what do you know about the GEMS/Thor setup?)

I've heard this sort of story before from TVR racers. Apparently it's a way of staying poor.

Have you thought about taking up sailing big yachts? Might just be cheaper ...

Sorry to hear the news and glad you OK.

I was about to get the cameras out, search out some high speed film (it's bound to rain) and set the satnav for Mallory. Last time I remember going there was August '73.

Was rather looking forward to it. On the other hand battling there and back through the Donington Superbikes traffic might be a challenge. Wonder if I can scrounge a ticket and do the bikes instead - something I've not done before.

Got to the bikes, hate to say it, but it will be vastly better racing than at Mallory.
