VW EOS Leak Repair
Discussion
Partner bought a 2007 EOS in October last year and it's been non-stop issues since January.
Major leaking on the driver side carpets (Hoover it up with wet vac and it's puddling within a few days again), roof won't go down completely, giving a fault, battery was replaced a month ago and now alternator has packed in so has to be replaced by a mobile mechanic.
Hardest thing is finding a non-dealership option to take a look at the leaking issue and see where it's coming from. Have called a handful of VW Specialists in the area and they all said they don't deal with the EOS roof.
I have raised a small claims court with the garage who sold us the vehicle, as we are still within 6 months of purchase and they are trying to not accept fault, but after seeing that this can be drawn out for months and we may not even get any money from them in the end, I'm looking to see if there are alternative options that won't cost £000s to repair.
