The Piston Club, Redhill near Stratford
Discussion
This looks interesting, on the opposite side of Stratford to C&M, with a slightly more upmarket feel but definitely going to attract some of the same audience.

I’ll be giving it a go I think

Thanks for this, I have never heard of it. I wonder how long it's been open. https://thepistonclub.co.uk/

Of course it will attract some of the same, petrol heads are just that.
The days of tweed and pipes are probably gone
Its great that these places are opening up, gives us some great choices.

Only been open a week or two now. Not visited yet but looks good from the social media posts I’ve seen.Of course it will attract some of the same, petrol heads are just that.

Definitely an upmarket C&M although mostly the same crowd.
We were heading past earlier on today so called in for a beer in the sun.
The interior of the pub and restaurant area look really very well done, with plenty of motorsport memorabilia on display. The seating area outside is nice with a kids playground across the way, and immaculately kept lawns.
I think it should do well, but it’s not a direct competitor to C&M with a lot less car parking and more upmarket food on the menu.

They are doing a Sunday morning bike meet, starting this weekend.
It was very good. Plenty of variety there, and lovely weather. Food not the cheapest but not stupidly priced. Queue for hot drinks was quite long but they admit they got three times as many people as expected. Gassing Station | Midlands | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
