A Late Summer Night's Soiree
Discussion
Well the cry has gone out for more beer, more fun and more err...fun! So, it is time once more to make plans for our next big night out in Nottingham. I think it is fair to say that Turkish won't be an option this time. There is the cheap and cheerful Chinese buffet on George Street or I have been heartily recommended the Red Hot Buffet , offering a variety of dishes from across the globe, though I have yet to check this out.
First then we need to decide on a date. I was thinking late September? So what date is it to be, Saturday 17th or 24th September?
We could organise a drive out too nearer the time, but if last time is anything to go by, I think it will have to be on Saturday.

Hi Emma ,
Put me down for this one.Chinese sounds good to me (i've never tried one),anything hotter than the Turkish and I won't be able to speak for a month.
I won't find out what I'm Working until all the redundant drivers leave on 31st july.I have the 15th 16th off for Zoe's mcfly concert(i'm not going in i'm staying in the car park) at the NEC so it might be easier for me to add the 17th and 18th to that.
Having said that I will probably find an excuse to make either date.

I can't really make either date sorry, I'm away with a Youth Group the 17th and the w/e of the 24th/25th could well be my first race in the TVRCC Challenge.
Having said that, it's at Mallory, so it isnt that far to Nottingham, could test on the Saturday have a meal and a coke then hit the hay. Then you can all come and support me at Mallory on the Sunday right?
Hows that for a plan?
So lets make that
EmmaP (either date)
Rafdug (either date)
wizzpig (the 17th)
Chassis 33 (and hopfully Lexie) (the 24th)
If its the 17th then come to Mallory anyway on the 25th!
Regards
Iain

Just realised this afternoon that 16th-18th September is the Goodwood Revival. Should we consider 1st October as an alternative to the 24th? I am concerned that Iain might have a thick head on Sunday and that would never do for his race debut.
Anyway, I'm off for the weekend now. Bonne nuit!

I'll try and make any date you set, although the sooner I know the more chance I have of getting it off.
The last one was brilliant we will have to de-brief each other about it next time we meet, there are probably bit's that you remember and I don't and vice-versa.
oops de-brief sounds rude I didn't mean it that way I is married..
