If I had the wherewithal to buy one of those i'd change the gearbox ratios to find the true Vmax

With the weight and shape it must be pretty near optimum now, tbh.
But some speed that, for a big brute.

Also Balmoral, your car weighs 2500kg not 3200kgs!

(Got that off 2 separate Bentley T turbo road test spec. columns).

I knew it couldn't be that heavy, or the power to weight ratio would have been akin to a Fiesta XR2!

Well, i'd just had some chips

Anyway, just checked the chassis plate, mine is 2910kgs.

1390kgs front axle.
1520kgs rear axle.
