West Midlands Meet & Eat

Guys and Gals,

There are plenty of us now, so I think it's about time we had a meet and eat..

I suggest we go for a nice gentle sunday afternoon meet somewhere in the middle of all of us..

So, suggestions for dates/locations please..

I'm thinking somewhere in the evesham/studley area.. I think that should be pretty central for everyone?

I'd definitely be up for that. Whether or not I can make it though depends on dates as Sunday mornings are all taken up between now and 5th June. I shall keep an eye on developments and let you know.

Methinks you better get some new tyres on your steed dude...them rear tyres look a bit bald! That wing is a bit OTT too!!

How does the Throckmorton Arms @ Coughton sound?

We could go for a meet mid-month this month (maybe 22nd) then another in July (maybe the 17th or 24th)..

Sounds good to me, funny thing is, never eaten at the Throckmorton Arms and lived only a few miles away for 7 years. At least they have painted it a better colour.

Damnation! I'm at MayExcuseToGet Drunk on 22nd May and it is the BBQ&T05, Cadwell Park on July 17th and Goodwood Festival of Speed on 24th.

Where's Coughton ? July will be out for me as on Hols in Greece for the Month. Will try to make it before then, bearing in mind I work every other Sunday. Peter

Hi slinky, can't make this month, 17th july is a PH do at cadwell park then i'm in Benidorm in August. Early september would be good for another one though if the weathers still good.Coughton is near Ross on wye isn't it,how about doing another later one say Worcester or Malvern area.

Dug, Coughton is in between Alcester and Studley (on the A435) chap...

My original dates are only a suggestion, I'm completely open to other date ideas... If anyone's got any "better" suggestions then I'm completely open to them... as long as I'm not racing of course!

Great place to meet up would be Tettenhall on the outskirts of Wolverhampton....Not that I live near there or anything.

Ah thats better that Coughton is a lot closer to me than the ross on wye one. It will be hard to find a date when we can all make it as there seems to be a PH do on most weekends this year.Will do my best to get there whenever the date is. Dougie

24 th of next month is out of the question though(trackday castle coombe)
