Performance car / PistonHeads show / PHSS
Discussion
£41 before you've even walked through the door. I'm having second thoughts. Not because I'm tight, or can't afford it - I don't think I can justify it - and I'd get there and back in a fully expensed company car too.
Dare I say it, most of the cars there will be nothing I've not seen before anyway.
ETA: The only thing I'll miss is the Coys auction which I always enjoy the atmosphere and viewing of.

I'm going, I agree it is expensive, but there isn't much else to do at this time of year...
More reason for the over ambitious prices as they know there's not much else to do in January
Given the motorcycle show was 2/3's the price I'd rather go test drive a car at my local OPC than ogle one from behind a barrier for that price.
You can park at a station such as Tile Hill, Canley or Berkswell for free, then jump on a train to the NEC about £1.50 I think, it takes you further inside the place too, so you don't need to get soaked walking from the car park that's miles away. Train only takes about 10 mins from the furthest station.

Yup, that's what I'd normally do, I think it is £2.20 from Tile Hill, but PHSS means driving is more sociable! We are going too on the Sunday.
It will be me and my son Tom, and parking in the PH SS as well.
I hope to take my Caterham R500, but if the weather is not too clever, then we will be in my Porsche 997 Targa.
I have to agree it's not cheap anymore, but then what shows are these days? Plus it's an excuse for a day out with the lad and cars!
Might see some of you there on the day.
Nige.
