Decent bodyshop in Brum ?

Anyone recommend a good bodyshop in Brum, preferably South west, that they've had first hand experience of or a friend has ?

After 2500mls touring the Alpine passes, got hit by flying debris on the M20 at Maidstone nearly a month ago which has stripped the paint off the door/sill/boot. No actual dents, just paintwork damage, but I want a proper job rather than touch up.

I tried Revive after Evo recommended them and frankly I'd have more interest from a corpse. Tried Chips Away...bloke doesn't work weekends...could I send pics for estimate....pics too close up, could I send more 'panoramic' pics.....bloke says he doesn't do door repairs...WTF

So a month later and I'm no nearer sorting it and decided to take the bodyshop option.

There are 2 bodyshops that I have heard good things about...the first is on Sandpits Industrial Estate by the BMW garage close to the City Centre, and the other is on Bradford Street in Digbeth - I've used neither, though friends have for different cars. Both apparently do a lot of top end cars and prestige main dealer jobs if that helps. Good luck and I sympathise with your 'smart repair' experiences - it is very much a lottery and down to the operator rather than the franchise.

I used Bodytech and have to say what a bostin job they've done, no evidence of any damage

Thanks for the recommendation. They're a bit off the beaten track, opposite Earlswood Lakes but well worth the effort. The Lakes train station is half a mile away if you've got no lift or don't want to fork out for a taxi.

I have had quite a few cars painted by them now and its always been a good experience

Ade is great chap done a cracking job on my car so i have no hesitation in recommending him to anybody. And indeed of the beaten track but very much worth the travel

Shorade in Cannock top notch I seen an Aventator come out of there in Matt black, it was sweet

Is the digbeth one Davies and gibberson ? Or some similar name . They were top notch when I used them but it was a good few years ago
