Headed up to Birmingham on Saturday for a mate's stag and I'm driving so I can leave about midnight. Not too chuffed at the idea of leaving my car in a city I don't know - could anyone recommend a good safe car park near Broadstreet please?

Many thanks

Mods - apols if not Lounge fodder - but thought a bit too O/T for GG.

There is a multi level car park at Bishopsgate IIRC, I have not visited the city centre for a number of years but that one was fine the last time i was there smile

Happy to help. I haven't used that one, but others in the chain. Pricey but well lit, good feeling of security, etc.

That one will be good, secure and brindley place has a few nice bars in it. Check there is nothing on at the NIA first though as it can get busy round there.

That is the only place in the country I've ever had my car broken into - in the street, in broad daylight, midweek afternoon.

Only city where a colleague was car jacked by guys with balaclavas with shotguns... just a repmobile. In daylight. In a built up area.

(sorry that sounded a bit Elevenerife, it wasn't meant to)

I work at the Mailbox, and it is the best car park in Birmingham. Very secure. But it's very pricey.

Mailbox For me. The spaces aren't exactly, ahem, spacious. But very safe and tends to be inhabited by exotica who don't want door dings. Pricey though.
