Anyone near Cadwell Park?

I'm meant to be doing a full open-pit trackday on Friday there. I have a feeling the snow today will have had a serious impact. Just wondering if anyone is around Louth area and can let me know how bad its been?!

Is it? My geography is rubbish. Last time I went it felt like an age to get from Leicester to Cadwell....

I live 20 mins from Cadwell, we have an inch of snow settled atm but it may be much deeper at Cadwell as it is further inland and higher up. I have a mate who lives 2 mins away if you need an update later in the week.

A brief update tomorrow early evening? would be very appreciated. I imagine its going to be a nightmare for them. There's a real steep downhill approach to the pit area too, which is probably going to be frozen solid now.

I wouldn't hold out much hope,the snow is still a solid blanket with no hope of a thaw yet.

Unless there is heavy rain or an unseasonably warm breeze then it just won't be practicable to run on Friday.

I would write off any track time this week. The temperature has not risen over minus 3 today, snow still thick on the ground.

Minus 8C here, maybe they expect you to turn up on studded tyres or snow chains.
