live music venues

Hoping that you guys and gals in the midlands forums can help me with trying to find good live rock and blues music venues in and around notts/derbys. I've heard of rock city in nottingham and the flowerpot in derby (?) but are there any other recommendations for live venues and also any good live bands that you can suggest who play good rock and blues. Posted this in midlands rather than music section as it's midlands based venues only that I'm interested in. Thanks for any suggestions

Try the Victoria Inn Derby....live bands most nights..
