Warwickshire Meets Coming Up
Discussion
Hi Guys, are there any little meets taking place in Warwickshire in the next few months that i may not know about? I often find that i'm missing out on these little shows because i never actually get to hear about them.
Sometimes i find that the Heritage Motor Centre have small meets but they don't actually tell anyone as they are intended for club members only. Last year a TVR Club meet took place there, in which approximately twenty-thirty cars turned up, from Vixens to Sagaris's. Others included a Triumph meet and a Caterham meet. Would it be possible for me to find out when these little secret club events take place? Is there something to tell us when they are on?

It did ? i missed that one then, maybe a Regional drive out/meet up?There is something called "Super Car Sunday" held there each year but that's open to all makes and TVR wise tends to only attract the more recent models.
With the demise of Becketts and The Breakfast Club could do with tracking down one or two places to pop along to myself, believe there's a mid week one at a pub somewhere near Southam?
First Tuesday evening of every month @ the Red Lion in Hunningham.
It's the only regular meet I know of in Warwickshire.

Guys, I think supercar sunday has been cancelled for this yr... according to the TVRCC forum..
Cancelled? Well i'm not surprised after last years effort. I feel that Supercar Sundays tend to be focused on family visitors rather than petrolhead visitors, if you get what i mean.... It seems a bit centred on people who don't actually like cars. Both the ones i have been to have had rather 'boring' cars; the best car i've ever seen at Supercar Sunday has to be the Jag XJ220. As for last years event, that was truly awful. Did you hear the commentary??? Cars were named by there colour over the sound system, eg. "The Yellow Car", and the commentators clearly knew nothing about cars. According to them, the Aston One77 costs £1Million! Of course, it is actually £1.2Million. The only bit i found enjoyable was Darth Vader's hilarious jokes.
